Compost for Brooklyn


Compost for Brooklyn is a community composting project based in Kensington, Brooklyn, New York, committed to ecological restoration, composting, and education in this local neighborhood and beyond. "Compost for Your Neighborhood" might be next... Through DesigNYC's initiative to "improve the lives of New Yorkers through better design," I have the good fortune of working with this wonderful non-profit on organizational branding, and redesign of their visual identity. Gevalia

1 year in the making… the newly redesigned and illustrated Gevalia Retail line hits the shelves. A good part of 2011 was spent working closely with Landor Associates to develope a packaging system which visually maintains the Swedish roots of the company, with both a modern and 'warm' appeal. Each flavor/package has it's own icon to convey flavor and taste, and geographic origin. Finally, we are live!

To the café

Don't we all need a mid-afternoon coffee break on a rainy, windy, cloud covered new york friday. Chelsea's Cafe Grumpy (20th between 7 & 8) is the best of the best.


Couture & more

Hair stylists and colorists are very fashionable folk. They don't want to ruin their couture by spilling messy product while on the job, but they don't like to cover it up either. Coming soon, the Clearly Couture Apron. Make a mess, spill some color, or paints, or some wine for that matter!
